Concerning the purchase of 2 ultrasonic devices for research within echocardiography, as well as a server solution for storage of ultrasonic recording research. The ultrasonic devices shall primarily be used for research within echocardiography, and shall be used on patients and research animals (pigs, rats). It involves the development and testing of applications, both for acquisition and analysis of echocardiography data. The devices must be programmable, and it must give access to raw data. In addition, at least one of the devices must be in the feasibility studies and clinical studies of the same applications. These devices must be able to be used for full cardiology/hemodynamic investigations, including trans-thoracic and vascular investigations, both of children and adults. This appliance is intended for use by clinicians within echocardiography research. At least one machine must have the latest version of research software. This software need not be approved for clinical/hemodynamic investigations. The device shall be used by researchers with competency within medicine or technology. As both machines and sever shall enter into research work within the same project, they must be compatible. It is therefore not possible to deliver tender only on individual machines.
