Installation of Nikon NSR-S204B DUV Scanner. The University of Southampton has recently acquired Nikon NSR-S204B scanner. Installation of the scanner within our clean-room facility is now required as well as operator and technician training, on-going maintenance and parts and labour service cover. The instrument has been boxed for a number of years so it is anticipated some faults may occur on start-up and the successful bidder should have ready access to original Nikon replacement parts. The instrument will be shipped in boxes which will be positioned in the installation location. The successful bidder will then need to install the scanner with qualification and final test of its operation to the standards expected by the OEM. (original equipment manufacturer). The scanner is to be kept in the same configuration as it was in Intel, however since the tool is configured to process 200 mm wafers, a method to allow processing of 150 mm wafers is required. Basic and advanced operator training is required. Technician training is required to the levels required to carry out performance Preventative Maintenance. Application training is also required. All training is required to be to the standards expected by the OEM. Regular preventative maintenance visits are required at intervals and to the standards as recommended by the OEM. A way to provide parts and labour coverage for a period of 4 years after installation is required. Access to OEM approved replacement parts must be guaranteed for the entirety of this period. A typical consumables kit, as well as reticle cases to fit the scanner are also required. The purpose of this PIN is to gauge capability and interest in the market and inform our procurement strategy in this specialist area.
