This PIN notice constitutes a Request for Information (RFI) in response to the requirements of the UK Education and Research Sector. Jisc Services Limited (JSL) is considering how to introduce complimentary products and services to its current web filtering service. JSL acknowledges that the requirements for HE and FE organisations vary widely and that the currently offered service is not appropriate to everyone's needs. Requirements within the sector vary by size of establishment, technical requirements, local policy and budget. In addition to offering greater, more flexible and appropriate choice JSL is also keen to find cost efficiencies for the community. Information on the current service can be found at: https://www.jisc.ac.uk/web-filtering Suppliers wishing to respond to this RFI should read the RFI document, which can be obtained from the Jisc e-tendering portal, carefully and follow the guidance for responding. Any information submitted at this RFI stage will be confidential and non-binding.
