ONE3ONE Solutions is the part of the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) — an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice — which is largely responsible for providing meaningful employment for prisoners. We are looking to increase the amount of work which is delivered in prisons by prisoners to support the Government's commitments in this respect. NOMS has over 100 locations across England and Wales, utilising a workforce of motivated prisoners who work under supervision of trained instructors. We create high quality products and services for a whole range of businesses, including some household names and other government departments. We help businesses by working with them on a whole range of products and services – and one of the key areas of manufacture is Woodwork products. We already produce an extensive range of products; but we want to increase this to be able deliver Woodwork products to other Government Departments and the commercial sector. To enable this to be possible ONE3ONE Solutions needs to ensure that it can purchase equipment to update the existing workshops and for installation in new Woodworking facilities. The type of Woodwork Equipment which we normally require includes (but not limited to): CNC Woodwork Machines; Veneer Guillotine; Sanding machines; Edgebanding Equipment; Beam Saw; Veneer Sticher; Dimension Saw; Compressors; Hydraulic Hot Press; Drilling machines; Panel Glue Spreader. The Ministry of Justice is seeking to Tender for the provision of Industrial Woodworking Machines, to be used within the workshops across the prison estate. This requirement will include the provision of spare parts and may include the need for servicing, at the establishment where the equipment is sited.
