Communications equipment. The requirement is to maintain CCTV capability to current Royal Navy platforms through combined telephone helpdesk, supply and repair of Line Replacement (LRU) units and management of module level spares. There is also a requirement for obsolescence, safety and environmental management of CCTV equipment for the duration of the contract. CCTV equipment is a mix of old and new technology. The contractor will be required to produce modifications to existing designs to overcome obsolescence or poor reliability of LRU's. The contractor will be required to provide storage facilities for defective items until called forward for repair. The CSA team places particular emphasis on timely.
