Places for People and Cotman Housing Association is seeking expressions of interest from suitably resourced, qualified and experienced contractors in order to implement a Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Contract(s) in the Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge regions. Places for People is a registered provider of social housing. The Contracting Authority is one of the largest property management, development and regeneration companies in the UK. In April 2009, Cotman Housing Association officially entered the Places for People Group. Based in Norwich they manage more than 3 000 homes across East Anglia. The Contract duration is three years with a possible extension of a further one year. The services will be divided into three lots: — lot 1 Norfolk, — lot 2 Suffolk, — lot 3 Essex and Cambridge. It is anticipated that any new schemes will be incorporated into the contract. Potential candidates shall note that TUPE may or may not apply to this procurement. In the event that the contracting authority is able to provide TUPE information it will do so acting merely as a conduit of the information and it will not warrant, represent or guarantee the accuracy of any TUPE information provided. As such potential candidates will be expected to take their own advice as to the application of TUPE to this procurement.
