Hampshire County Council has appointed an organisation who is suitably experienced and qualified in providing electrical testing and inspection services of fixed wiring installations. The Framework will cover an annual programme of testing and inspection to a variety of properties owned or managed by Hampshire County Council together with property portfolios owned by other County, District or Borough Councils and Other Public Bodies. Services may also be made available to schools including acadamies, faith, voluntary aided or controlled, maintained and 'free' schools, including those schools which may convert to academy status during the term of the framework including those that currently exist and their successors. The Framework will also include buildings owned and operated by Other Authorities including: County council and borough council Buildings of various types, District Authority Buildings of various types schools, corporate offices, day care centres, residential and nursing care homes, libraries, museums, leisure centres, residential housing, scheduled monuments, police and fire stations. The Hampshire County Council portfolio includes properties dating primarily from the 1900's onwards with some historic and listed exceptions dating back several centuries. Construction types range across most common methods, traditional, load bearing masonry, steel, concrete and timber frames, system (SCOLA) and pre-fabricated. The Framework encompasses 100 % electrical testing, inspection and certification of buildings to BS767; including reporting of Code 1 faults found and the submission of a full building report to Hampshire County Council Specification, across a prescribed programme of properties. In addition several District and Borough Councils may be engaging Hampshire County Council to carry out Electrical testing and inspection on their behalf. The Contractor will provide the following services: Electrical Testing, Inspection and Certification of properties and providing a full Electrical Report for each building in the specified format and uploading to the authorities database. This will vary between authorities reporting Code C1 faults.
