The contract consists of the design, production and delivery of different types of marking poles for the gas pipe lines of Gasunie in the Netherlands. Gasunie wants to contract a supplier who is flexible, ambitious and can deliver consultancy for new or adjusted poles. Spread over the Netherlands there are approximately 25 000 marking poles and 22 000 cathodic protection (CP) poles. Each year approximately 500 poles are replaced due to maintenance. Also there are poles needed for projects. The current marking poles are very recognizable in the field and well known by citizens. The marking poles are part of Gasunies image. Also Gasunie is in the middle of a energy transition and does not want to change all the current poles in the field. Concluding: Gasunie wishes to maintain the current look and feel as much as possible. Therefore tenderers will be asked to provide a complete marking pole with their offer. More details will be given in the tender documents.
