Road-maintenance works. Within each Contract, the works may include but not be limited to the following principal work activities provided by way of example: A. Permanent reinstatement of openings and repairs to defects in foot ways and carriageways with all types of surfaces (bituminous materials, concrete, brick pavers, flags, kerbs etc.); B. Adjustment/provision drainage installation and maintenance schemes; C. Earthworks; D. Environmental Works; E. Provision and maintenance of fences and pedestrian guardrail; F. Reconstruction of carriageways and foot ways; G. Accommodation works including walls, fencing etc.; H. Adjustment/provision of kerblines; I. Small network improvement schemes e.g. Traffic Management Schemes, Traffic Calming Schemes; J. Other associated ancillary work. Note: Different elements of, or all of the work activities listed above may be responsive type work required to be done within specific time limits.
