Digital asset management system.

Kent Police wish to learn more about available digital asset management systems which will either negate or significantly reduce the need for evidential material to be copied to physical media. The system must be able to store, manage, analyse and share digital assets such as video, audio, images, documents and others. The assets may originate from interviews (video, audio, transcripts, etc), body worn video, CCTV, telephone call recordings and forensic investigations. Kent Police envisage that the assets may be stored both locally and in the cloud. Members of the public and industry must be able to upload digital assets to the system. The system must also be able to analyse the assets to identify those which may be potentially relevant to a particular case. Once Kent Police have a greater understanding of what is available and what it requires it is anticipated that it will undertake a full procurement process to identify a preferred supplier.
