Wokingham Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified suppliers for the provision of a software solution or service that will fully support the management of its finance, procurement, human resources and payroll operations. The software solution or service provided must be intuitive, user friendly and fit for purpose that fully meets the flexible and scalable demands of becoming a fully transformed, commissioning-led Authority. The software solution or service must be fully integrated across core modules and capable of integration with a wide range of back office systems including planning, social care, housing management, sundry debt, electronic document and records management and offers cross-cutting facilities such as workflow, manager and employee self-service, flexible reporting and management information. It is expected that the contract will commence on 1.6.2012 for a minimum period of 5 years with a possible 4 year extension subject to satisfactory performance. Tenders are being invited using the competitive dialogue procurement procedure.
