Integrated communications platform to include converged networking.

East Coast Main Line is looking to replace their communications platform, currently consisting of a wide area network connecting up to 25 locations from Aberdeen to London. The current network is based on MPLS technology delivering converged Voice and Data, with approximately 550 IP telephony users. Mobile services are delivered under separate contract but will be included in this tender. All sites deliver Voice and Data to users, a full breakdown of individual site delivery will be issued within the invitation to tender specification. Presently there is one contracted supplier backed by a service level agreement for both the wide area network and the IP telephony service, including management of the associated local area networks.
