CTC IT Systems Project

BCH have entered into a Strategic Alliance, with the goal of sharing resources that provide “protective services”, “organisational support” and “operational support” across the three counties. Notably, ICT across the three forces is being brought into alignment and a number of large joint projects are underway, i.e. STORM, ATHENA, etc. The purpose of sharing resources is to deliver a more cost efficient service to the public of all three forces. The service should provide value for money and resilience. The CTC department sits under the operational support umbrella. It will provide for the management of safety cameras across the three forces, the management of officer issued tickets (and other traffic reports) and the management of collision reports (with follow up investigation of less serious incidents). Concurrently to this the NPIA are delivering PentiP and CRASH. The scope of this part of the project is to cover the procurement process and implementation of a CTC management system.
