Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and the Embassy of Finland in Stockholm, Sweden (both hereinafter referred as the “Contracting Authority") will renovate the embassy residence located in Västra Trädgårdsgatan 13, Stockholm. The main target for the project is to execute a comprehensive overall renovation to all premises in the property including HVAC- and electrical systems. During the renovation spatial changes will be made to suit the premises to current needs. Also technical systems will be modernized. The scope of work will cover both the design and the renovation works. Contracting method is a partnering method in which the Contracting Authority will procure one contractor for design and construction services under one contract. The planned time schedule for the project is the following Public procurement for awarding the contract: 7/2022 – 11/2022 Design period (development stage): 11/2022 – 2/2023 Design and construction (construction stage): 3/2023 – 5/2025 Actual target for the start of the construction works is 6/2023. Time schedule for the construction stage is finalized during the development stage, including permitting process together with the city officials. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to accepted variants if during the negotiations acceptable variants have been presented but it is not obliged to accept variant tenders.
