Self Service Automation.

Post Office has circa 650 self-service devices deployed in its 11 700 branch network. The incumbent contract is approaching its expiry date and the services need to be re-procured. The Retail business strategy is focused around product simplification and enhancing our customer experience through reducing queue times in branch. Self-service automation is fundamental to achieving this goal whereby additional services e.g. business banking and Post Office Card Account need to be migrated to the self-service device and customer journeys need to be digitised (e-receipt, volumetric scanning) along with provision of device innovation e.g. device mobility, which is fundamental to optimising space in branch. The focus on self-service automation drives the need for significant growth in the estate to replace high cost to run counter positions. Post Office is seeking a suitable service provider to provide an additional 2 000 self-service devices (minimum) which meet these requirements.
