Provision of Community Gastroenterological Services.

The Ipswich and East Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group (IESCCG) and The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust (IHT) are exploring the opportunity to secure a community partner to help deliver transformation of Gastroenterology Services. The successful Partner will be working as part of an alliance with IES CCG and IHT to co-produce and deliver transformation over 5 years. This could include provision of a Single Point of Access, triage, outcome based measurement, diagnostics and community outpatient clinics. The annual Gastroenterology budget is circa 23 000 000 GBP with the contract value for this opportunity to be in the region of 10 000 000 GBP. This is an estimation due to the potential for change over the lifetime of the contract, and due to the activity based payment mechanism of the contract.
