I21 Spherical Grating Monochromator

The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, supply, deliver, assemble, install (optional) and commission (optional) 1 soft X-ray Variable Line Spacing (VLS) Spherical Grating Monochromator (SGM) mechanics. The SGM will be used on the DLS I21 Beamline spectrometer over a photon energy range of 250-3 000 eV with a resolving power better than 50 000 at the reference energy of 1 keV. The gratings are excluded from the scope of the contract.
