In line with the SDGs, SDC aims at strengthening the economic resilience of poor and vulnerable groups via fostering PSD, FSD and VSD. Through this tender, SDC seeks support to the expansion of the capacity of the Cluster ‘Inclusive Economic Development’ (IED) and other SDC units. The Backstopping Mandate (BSM) can support the quality work of the IED team in its core processes by providing specialized technical expertise in PSD, FSD and VSD, but also on general issues that will benefit IED with communication support. Therefore the BSM is divided into 4 lots. Lot 1 entails communication support and will be awarded as a mandate contract. The thematic Lots 2-4 will be awarded as framework contracts. SDC needs support in these categories of activities: — knowledge management and capacity development, — events and study visits, — thematic advice, — communication support, content-marketing and knowledge dissemination, — shareweb content and updates and monitoring of key performance indicators.
