NHS Harrogate and Rural District CCG GP Out of Hours Service.

The recently published Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) Service Specification forms the mandated blue print underlying the future commissioning and delivery of urgent care services across England. The whole of England's population should be served by the IUC services by April 2019. The overarching aim of the OOH service will be to provide urgent Primary Care services outside core General Medical Services (GMS) contract provision hours every day of the year. The provider will be expected to deliver healthcare consistently in line with quality and safety standards as defined in National Quality Requirements (NQRs) in the delivery of Out of Hours services (July 2006), with the understanding the NQRs are to be superseded by the IUC service specification when fully implemented.
