The Council requires the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and operating of a vehicle tracking system that is capable of tracking vehicles in real time in a variety of situations. The Council are inviting prices for 2 options of supply: Option 1 - the outright purchase of the equipment along with a five (5) year maintenance and support contract. Option 2 - a five (5) year contract hire and maintenance contract. The Council will only consider purchasing one of the two options. The options will be evaluated based on the ability to purchase the most preferred option for the lowest price within the available budget. However, the Council retain the right to purchase any of the options from the tenderer with the highest overall score for that option.
