Project name: Lviv District Heating Project Country: Ukraine Business sector: Municipal and environmental infrastructure Project ID: 7774-GPN-39300 Funding source: EBRD, E5P Type of contract: Project goods, works and services Type of notice: General procurement notice Issue date: 18.12.2014 Closing date: 18.12.2015 Lviv City Communal Enterprise "Lvivteploenergo" intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development [the Bank] and a grant from the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership ("E5P") Fund for a project aimed at reducing energy losses, reducing gas and electricity consumption and improving the quality of service of the heat and hot-water supply system in the City of Lviv. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 30 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services: • Replacement of transmission lines • Replacement of distribution network • Individual heating substations • Dispatching and monitoring system • Other contracts – tbc Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the Q1 2015. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank and E5P grant will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the loan and the grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law or official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
