IMC 188 — The Periodic Inspection, Lubrication, Test and Repair of Lifts.

Lifts. It is Shropshire Council's intention to appoint a sole contractor to provide the periodic, inspection, lubrication, test and repair of lifts complying with BS 5655: Lifts and service lifts, SAFed Guidelines on the supplementary tests of in-service lifts. All work complying with BS 7255:2012 Code of Practice for the Safe Working on Lifts (or EU equivalent). The contract shall run from 1.4.2016 to 31.3.2020, thereafter the contract may be extended for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory performance during the contract period.
