Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council (DLRCC) wishes to engage in a Market Soundings exercise in relation to the Operation of the Shanganagh Crematorium. The development of a crematorium at Shanaganagh has been a longstanding objective and proposal by the Council, and is included as a specific local objective in the County Development Plan: “To encourage the development of a crematorium at Shanganagh cemetery”. The proposed development at Shanganagh comprises (1) 2no. Funeral Halls connected by a Cremation Hall, a building area of c.406m2, and (2) all associated landscaping, servicing and mobility infrastructure on a site area of c. 3.71 hectares Further information is available in the document attached to this notice.
