Web-based Tool for Coordinating and Publishing Planned Temporary Capacity Restrictions (TCR).

Planned temporary capacity restrictions (TCR) are necessary to keep the infrastructure and its equipment in operational condition and/or to allow changes to the infrastructure necessary to cover market needs. However, there is a high customer demand to know in advance which capacity restrictions they will be confronted with. Furthermore, according to the Rail Freight Regulation, temporary capacity restrictions have to be coordinated and published. The planned Temporary Capacity Restrictions (TCR) shall replace the common Ex-cel IT solution towards an international used software application and platform for publi-cation and coordination of capacity restrictions to ensure an efficient and optimised planning of temporary capacity restriction. It shall be used on all international related lines and effected national networks to safe-guard capacity for commercial use and secure maintenance capacity.
