The overall objective of the project is to maximise the degree of convergence and compatibility of the air quality sector in the Turkish Cypriot community with EU legislation, as well strengthening fuel quality controls. This will be done partly through the development of standard operating procedures and hands-on training on air quality measurements and instrument verification, with the aim to comply with the EU reference methods. Equally, the contract envisages other activities related to pollution characterisation and air quality management.
