Achilles Supply-Line Codes Required for all Lots: 2.41.3.0 IT Consultancy Lot 1: Enterprise Productivity & Cloud Solutions Requires partners to deliver software and services that enhance EirGrid’s digital experience, collaboration, workflow automation, cloud-native productivity. These solutions are key to enabling agile working environments and secure communications across the organisation. Data, software and associated licenses would be hosted in Eirgrid data centres and/or in an Eirgrid tenant cloud. Tenderers are expected to design, integrate, implement, test, support and collaborate on designing enterprise productivity environments aligned with EirGrid’s digital strategy. Must provide flexible licensing models, testing tools, implement software installations and DevOps solutions, support workflow automation across hybrid environments. Ongoing support, maintenance, and optimisation are required to ensure platform performance, availability, and compliance. Lot 2: Technology Platforms This Lot focuses on technologies and services that enable integration, data flow, observability, and enterprise-wide capabilities across EirGrid’s core systems. These solutions are essential for operational efficiency, system interoperability, long-term performance across Power Systems, Market Systems, and corporate platforms. Data, software and other licenses would be hosted in Eirgrid data centres and/or in Eirgrid tenant cloud. Tenderers are expected to design and deliver data architecture and integration strategies, provide testing tools where required, supply licenses for integration platforms and data tools, manage implementation of enterprise platforms. Must provide robust database management solutions, support data governance, ensure system security & scalability, resilience, and performance in production environments. Vendors should demonstrate expertise in managing complex application and data ecosystems, offering 1st-3rd level support across infrastructure and applications. Lot 3: Virtualisation, Operating Systems & Infrastructure Platforms Support  Delivery and support of software solutions for virtualisation, operating systems, and infrastructure platforms across EirGrid’s critical national infrastructure. These foundational services are essential for maintaining secure, high-performing, and flexible environments that support both IT and OT systems. Data, software and associated licenses would be hosted in Eirgrid data centres and/or in an Eirgrid tenant cloud. Contribution to the design, implementation, migration and upgrade of hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, provide software licensing & testing tools where required, and deliver platforms aligned with enterprise architecture standards. Ongoing support for monitoring, patching, and incident management is required, particularly in high-uptime environments such as control centres and ERP systems. Ensure compliance, performance, and availability across all supported systems, offering scalable enterprise applications that enable business operations and data-driven decision-making. Experience in managing infrastructure at scale and supporting mission-critical environments is essential. Lot 4: Corporate Applications Delivering and supporting software solutions that enable efficient operation of EirGrid’s corporate functions and enterprise-wide business processes which are vital for ensuring business continuity, operational excellence, and strategic alignment, and form a core part of EirGrid’s enterprise IT strategy. Data, software and associated licenses would be hosted in Eirgrid data centres and/or in an Eirgrid tenant cloud. Tenderers are expected to design, implement, test, and support both corporate applications and business intelligence tools. Solutions must be secure, scalable, and compatible with EirGrid’s architecture, data governance, and compliance standards. Software licensing and testing tools should be provided where required. Vendors must collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective adoption and continuous improvement and operate within a tiered partner model. Lot 5: Emerging Technology & Custom Development Delivery and support of innovative software solutions that enable agility, insight, and future-readiness across EirGrid’s operations. These services are central to advancing EirGrid’s innovation agenda and strategic programmes. Data, software and associated licenses would be hosted in Eirgrid data centres and/or in an Eirgrid tenant cloud. Design, develop, test and deploy custom applications and emerging technology use cases tailored to utility operations. Includes providing licenses for low-code platforms, AI/ML tools, analytics engines, and open-source technologies. Solutions must be scalable, integrable, and align with enterprise architecture and development standards.
