IP TELEPHONY/UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS

The Authority is seeking to contract with a partner organisation to undertake a phased replacement of its current telephone systems with an IP Telephony / Unified Communications Solution. The scope of this will include the detailed design, supply, implementation, commissioning, maintenance and support of the solution. The selected organisation will be required to work with the Authority for an Initial Deployment of IP Telephony and associated applications, followed by the migration of the complete voice system currently serving approximately 7 500 users. The solution will be required to integrate into the the Authority's Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environment. The programme will commence in 2015 with anticipated completion by 2017. Tenderers may be invited to submit optional bids for complementary services, such as fixed and mobile carrier services as additions to compliant bids for the IP Telephony and Unified Communications requirements.
