The Scope of Works for this Contract includes: (i) to design in-situ replacement wastewater treatment plant with tertiary treatment of an ultimate capacity of 19,800 m3/d. In Stage 1 (This Contract) the Contractor shall design and build a new wastewater plant of capacity 13,200 m3/d, however, a number of elements of Stage 1 will be sized to facilitate the expansion of the WWTP to treat the Stage 2 design capacity of 19,800 m3/d, (ii) to provide Operation and Maintenance Training for the Employer’s Staff and supervise the operation and maintenance of the WWTP during the Defects Notification Period.
