Support for migrant victims of domestic abuse with No Recourse to Public Funds.

Norfolk County Council, on its own behalf and on behalf of Suffolk County Council, has been awarded a grant by the Depart for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to support adult migrant victims of domestic abuse who have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). The funding provided under the DCLG's Controlling Migration Fund is for 2 years and is being used to set up a domestic abuse service across Norfolk and Suffolk to help address the gap in service and enable support to be provided to those who cannot access conventional refuge services, provide them with culturally-appropriate advice and information, and enable them to consider their options for remaining in the UK or returning to their country of origin.
