Statsbygg would like, in connection with project 1004910 New Government District, to hold a qualification of participants that may be interested in submitting a tender for a partnering contract for K204 A block. The contract is for the A block, which is part of construction stage 1 and will be the new contribution to a number of important identity-creating buildings in the government district. This, together with a direct consequence of local climatic conditions with wind, sun and shade conditions, has given the A block its peculiar form. The A block is engineered with 11 floors, 17 300 m 2 gross above ground level. The building will house the main entrance to the New Government District, and a public cafe that faces the Government Park. In addition to office premises, the building will also include, amongst other things, a press and conference centre, an auditorium, and representative areas with a lounge, meeting rooms and dining room. The buildings in the new government district are connected together by bridges that appear as light and transparent, both in size, construction, and use of material. K204 includes two bridges from the A block to the D block and H block respectively. The contract will also include two options: — Basement with two floors under the A block, basement towards Ring 1, as well as between the A, D and H blocks (approx. 10 000 m 2 of basement levels altogether). The basement areas include driving areas, parking, internal connections, technical functions, operational functions, and areas for goods and waste management. — Development of outside areas with a public cafe towards the Government Park.
