Originally, this set of procurements was structured as 5 separate, albeit related, procurements — this has now changed. This Corrigendum covers tools to support more effective management of metadata within the health and social care system, including improving the efficiency of the collection of secondary use data. Expected to be delivered via the following 3 separate procurements, valued at 23 000 000 GBP overall: 1) Metadata management (MdM) – core component that collates and stores the metadata required to define and identify sources of reusable data. Data governance and collaboration (DG&C) system – used to collaborate upon and govern decisions pertaining to the definition of metadata; 2) Terminology (service) – to store and link definitions in the use of clinical classifications, coding and terminology; 3) Data modelling tool – capable of being used to produce standard data models as well as clinical data models that will have reusable groupings of data items (e.g. a patient record).
