The London Borough of Croydon is seeking to appoint a high quality and client centred integrated community drug and alcohol service for adults and young people. Community drug and alcohol prevention, engagement, treatment and recovery services for adults and young people. Elements covered will include, but not be restricted to: • prevention initiatives; • clinical/prescribing interventions and Psychosocial interventions; • think Family approach with holistic, person centred care; • sustainable recovery support to include Peer mentoring/service user involvement; • family/carers support; • access to inpatient detoxification and residential rehabilitation; • partnership working. There will be a focus on delivering early support for families and a preventative approach to young peoples’ use. High level outcomes to achieve include: — a reduction in substance misuse related harm through effective early intervention; — improved health and wellbeing for individuals and freedom from dependence on drugs or alcohol; — a reduction in offending. We anticipate that we will be carrying out a compliant OJEU tender from January to March 2021, with the new service in place by 1 October 2021.
