QUB/2019/20 — Contract for Provision of Maintenance Services to Generators

This contract is for the provision of generator maintenance services to Queen’s University Belfast, included planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, repairs and call-outs to ensure the University’s business is not at risk and has available and continuous back up in the event of power failure. Queen’s currently has 22 stand-by generators across the campus. 16 cover entire buildings and a further six cover fire fighting lifts. Each generator must be serviced twice a year (one major and one minor service). A 24-hour callout service for emergency repair or breakdown is required, which must be responded to within 4 hours of fault notification.
