Smartply Europe DAC are seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified engineering companies with extensive experience in the OSB / wood processing industry for appointment to a Framework Agreement for a range of small to medium sized Mechanical works at their plant in Bellview, Slieverue, Waterford, X91 PX75. Types of works: 1) Annual Large-scale shutdown works 2) Fortnightly shutdown works 3) Hourly rate works related to projects An example of the type of work involved is listed but not limited to the table below. No. Maintenance Activity Performance Characteristics 1. Routine Maintenance General basic maintenance services to mechanical plant + equipment Activities that are conducted while equipment and systems are in service these are predictable and can be scheduled. Generally, these are the activities scheduled on a time-based schedule derived from preventive or predictive maintenance strategies. Some examples are visual inspections, cleaning, functional tests, and measurement of operating quantities, lubrication and oil tests. 2. Downday Schedule Activities that involve assessing the condition of equipment after unusual events, such as equipment failure/ repair/replacement or when equipment deterioration is suspected.
