Please note the updated sources of financing and the list of goods, works and services to be procured under the Project. The Communal Enterprise “Zhytomyr Tram and Trolleybus Company” (“the Company”), a municipal public transport operator, wholly owned by the City of Zhytomyr, and the management of the City of Zhytomyr have received loan financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) and Clean Technology Fund (“CTF”) and investment grant financing from the European Union Neighbourhood Investment Platform (“EU NIP”) to finance the renewal of Company’s trolleybuses fleet and modernisation of selected infrastructure. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of 12 000 000 EUR equivalent will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services using the proceeds of the loan: — Low-floor 12m trolleybuses (including diagnostic and maintenance equipment, spare parts and tools and associated services) — Extension of trolleybus network (construction of power substations and catenary network) Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the Q1 of 2019. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the EBRD and CTF loans and EU NIP grant will be subject to the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the EBRD and CTF loans and EU NIP grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
