Ofcom has a requirement for an independent technical auditor of Ofcom’s voluntary accreditation scheme (‘the Scheme’) for digital comparison tools. Organisations can apply for the role of independent technical auditor of existing services or new services applying for Ofcom accreditation. The independent technical auditor will conduct technical audits of digital comparison tools that fall within the scope of the scheme for the duration of the contract. This will include scheduled re-accreditation audits for current members, as below, and the initial audit or re-accreditation audit of any new members if applicable.
