Marine Ground Investigation Works — Tipner West Regeneration Project

Portsmouth City Council — the ‘Council’ — is seeking tenders to appoint a principal contractor to undertake a specialist marine Ground Investigation (GI) works within Tipner Lake/Porchester Lake, Tipner West and Horsea Island, Portsmouth in order to progress the Tipner West Regeneration Project. The estimated value of the contract is approx. GBP 3 million and will be let using the ICE UK Specification for Ground Investigations and associated ICC re-measurable BOQ contract. The deadline for tender submission is 18 December 2020 at 12 p.m. via the Council's e-sourcing system InTend — accessible via — https://in-tendhost.co.uk/portsmouthcc/aspx/home — with award of contract following on 26 January 2021. The works period is significantly constrained by bird migration and breeding patterns meaning that works may only commence from mid/late March 2021 and must be complete by mid May 2021.
