Technical Assistance to operationalise the Capacity Building & Engagement Window of the “Enhancing Accountability” programme

The EUD to South Africa requires technical assistance (TA) to set up, manage and implement the “Enhancing Accountability” programme’s Capacity Building & Engagement Window. The Capacity Building & Engagement Window will provide resources, support and opportunities for state and NSA to enhance participation, accountability and non-discrimination and transparency in the public and private sphere in South Africa. The Window will make resources available for: (1) Exchange of Experiences; (2) Mobilisation of Experts; (3) Research and studies; (4) Training and capacity building including short term exchanges; (5) Conferences, seminars, workshops, etc. The Window will also provide a platform for knowledge sharing, peer evaluation, thematic dialogues, sector coordination and dialogue in a sustainable way. The TA will operationalise the Window, communication, visibility and outreach activities, monitoring and evaluation, and will take guidance from the EU Delegation and the Advisory Committee.
