Trafford Council (and contract beneficiaries) has identified a need to modify the term of its current contract for the supply of interim agency staff from Reed Recruitment Services provisioned under YPO Framework 00569: HR Services and Solutions Lot 1: Managed Services for Contingent Labour. The contract will be extended for a 12 month period in accordance with Regulation 72 (1) (c) of the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR 2015). Due to the unforeseen covid pandemic; resources were required for other emergency operational requirements, and a full competitive procurement exercise could not be carried out. Although the proposed contract extension fulfils the criteria set out in Regulation 72 (1) (c) PCR 2015 for modifying a contract without a new procurement procedure, this Voluntary ex ante Transparency (VEAT) notice has been published in order to promote transparency.
