Contract for one 1.5T full body magnetic resonance tomograph, including an RF cabin and spools in accordance with the proposed use, for delivery to Stavanger University Hospital, Radiology Department, Hillevåg Section. The equipment will be used for taking pictures of optimal quality of all types of muscle and skeleton examinations, including the spinal column and periphery small joints. The machine will mainly be used for elective examinations of conscious patients, children and adults, who do not require an anaesthetic. The estimated number of examinations is 20-30 a day, 7 days a week. The machine must have a high examination capacity.
