The tender contest includes the delivery of precise isolation of microscopic quantities of material from biological preparations, either newly isolated or archival material stored frozen or fixed. The equipment must have a light and fluorescence microscope connected to a UV laser. One indicates areas of interest in the object using a microscope, and the laser then cuts out the specified area, isolating the tissue in a suitable container. We want equipment that can isolate samples visually and with high precision (down to the single cell level), and that the sample material is so gently processed that it represents few restrictions on what subsequent analyses can be performed. The delivery includes an option for a service agreement. The value of the procurement including options is estimated to NOK 2,400,000 excluding VAT.
