Landspitali is purchasing two multipurpose monitors that can measure continuous cardiac output with non-invasive, minimally invasive and invasive technology. The monitors will be used for monitoring CCO, CCI, SvO2, blood temperature, EF and EDV parameters. The monitors will be used to calculate hemodynamic and oxygen consumption parameters such as SVRI, SVR, PVR, PVRI, strokework index, oxygen delivery and oxygen extraction. It must therefore be possible to use the monitors to measure blood pressure such as pulmonary artery blood pressure and central vein pressure.
