Procurement of veterinary duty services for Hattfjelldal and Crane Municipalities

The aim of the procurement is to fulfil the municipalities' obligations in the law dated 15 June 2001 no. 75 on veterinary surgeons and other animal health personnel § 3 a. Grane and Hattfjelldal Municipalities are located in Nordland County bordering Trøndelag in the south and Sweden in the east. In the district there are approx. 12,000 farm animals, mainly split between sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, deer, and horses. The duties will be minimum split into 4, of which 1/2 of the weekday duties and every 2nd weekend duty will be taken care of by the veterinary service in Grane and the municipal veterinary surgeon in Hattfjelldal. After the contest has been held, the municipalities will try to get one of the duty participants to take on the function of duty administrator.
