The scope of this assignment is to develop an e-ticketing study suitable for the City’s current and future challenges and needs. The study should be applicable for the first phase of implementation of (piloting), as well as for a complete e-ticketing system. The Contractor is expected to deliver a study that will include at least the following important parts: Desk review of existing studies, initiatives and data regarding e-ticketing and other relevant systems; Chisinau public transport current situation review; Technical design and operational documentation for implementing the complete e-ticketing system; Technical specifications for the implementation of the system (i.e., equipment, software, etc.); Study on compensations and subsidies for vulnerable groups to be integrated within the e-ticketing system; Financial feasibility study; Detailed roadmap for implementing both the pilot and complete functional systems.
