Tender to provide expert assistance to the CRR in the area of railway vehicles and signalling. The lead expert may be supported by other experts from the same company. The lead expert will be expected to provide advice on: 1. EU Railway vehicle Authorisation including the NRs, TSIs, applicable mandatory and voluntary standards, Requirements Capture, Authorisation Strategy, the Authorisation process and or requirements, and ERATV. 2. Rolling Stock Acceptance to IE National legal provisions including Light Rail, Metro, and Heritage. 3. The requirements on integration of new or modified vehicles to an existing railway. 4. The requirements for the design of railway signalling for authorisation for placing in service to EU and national legal provisions. 5. Provide expert input into the development of national rules for the Republic of Ireland in the areas of rolling stock, signalling and vehicle interface with fixed installations.
