ILUC modelling on Sustainable Aviation Fuels at ICAO

The objective is to perform modelling on ILUC values for Sustainable Aviation Fuels at the Fuels Task Group of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). The contractor will be requested to perform modelling of indirect land use change (ILUC) values for the production of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), in the context of the work of the Fuels Task Group (FTG) of the Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection (CAEP) at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) for the new CAEP cycle starting as from beginning 2025. The work of the contractor will therefore contribute to continue building the framework for SAF of the Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for Civil Aviation (CORSIA). The contractor will also be requested to interact with the co-leads of the subgroup on ILUC and to provide insights and advice to the European experts at ICAO on ILUC related aspects of CORSIA.
