Ecovision Financial Managment Services 2025

Energy Communities Tipperary Cooperative (ECTC) trading as EcoVision, is seeking tenders for Finance Management Services to support and advise the board and General Manager to allow the organisation continue to deliver energy renovation and generation projects on behalf of our member communities. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION Financial Management Provide guidance and direction to the Board, on the level of detail required for Financial Planning. Provide projections for projects (One Stop Shop/BEC/Just Transition Fund) in conjunction with GM/PM, as required. Liaising with GM and board to set requirements for internal reporting, and dashboard templates to give an accurate picture of the financial health of the organisation, and of individual programmes. Facilitate Production of Quarterly Computerised accounts, and deeper analysis of specific programmes when required. Interpret financial information to help GM and Board maintain the financial health of the organization Provide high level oversight and advice on the company's financial strategy. Identify risks, and work with the GM/PM to ensure the same are mitigated. Ensure exposure to bridging finance expense is minimised Financial Policies and Procedures Prepare new Financial Policies and Procedures, in conjunction with the GM and Finance Committee, - Review implementation, and update on ongoing basis as required Provide oversight of Procurement Process and Procedures Some of the required services, relating to establishing/improving policies/processes, may be frontloaded, with a reduced requirement once in place. Cashflow Provide high level oversight of cashflow. This may involve: Liaising with GM and PM to overview and review retrofit cashflows Setting up/Reviewing Cashflow templates for the non retrofit projects Rolling Forecast - ensuring regular oversight - Cashflow Forecast v Actual. Other duties Attend regular liaison meetings with GM/project manager Present quarterly summarised accounts to the Board Oversight of Financial Administration Most of the tasks below are carried out by the Accounts administrator. The financial management role will be chiefly one of oversight, and ensuring, with the GM, that we have efficient processes in place. This may include: Ensuring efficient Processes for Banking, Electronic Payments, Monthly Review of Bank Reconciliation, including reviewing Checklist for approving payments (Original Quotation v Invoice, Certificate of Completion, Tax Clearance Cert from Supplier) Drafting of annual accounts and submission of same to the Auditors Ongoing liaison with the Auditors and dealing with queries relating to the audit Ensuring submission of annual returns to CRO Check that any other documentation being processed through the CRO is correct Ensure link up between EcoVision’s finance packages and and our CRM system Oversee and review VAT Returns and RCT with EcoVision Accounts admin staff and accountants (Knowledge and experience of preparing and submitting construction VAT Returns required) Check that insurances are kept up to date.
